We had to ask a few burning questions to our local LA residents Sergio Garcia and Francisco Romo aka Skellism.
You guys play multiple genres, how long does it normally take you to “read the crowd” and figure out which direction to take your set?
Usually within the first 3 or 4 tracks into our set, We see how they react to certain songs So therefore after that we get an idea of what direction to go if we play a lot of trap or a lot of hardstyle it all depends on the show every show is different
What’s been the biggest influence on your career thus far?
Being able to call some of these biggest dj’s in the industry our friends & have them play our music at different festivals all around the world & seeing how these big crowds react to our music.
Do you feel any pressure to play one specific genre or do you think those barriers are now non-existent?
Not really because us as producers we don’t ever really stick to producing one genre so when people come see us play they know what to a expect a very diverse set but yet still very hard dance influenced
Do you have any collaborations in the works?
We have a lot of big stuff in the works at the moment nothing we can really speak on publicly about
Be on the look out for Skellism’s newest tune coming out with Hype Turner on Q-dance. You have been warned.
